FINGERPRINT
Il s’agit d’un remake digital du film de Peter Weibel «Fingerprint», initialement destiné aux cinémas en plein air. Ce film d’animation de 68 a été réalisé par une simple pression du pouce sur la pellicule. Projeté sur les murs d’immeubles son remake numérique (re-)devient un spectacle étrange, une brève histoire de crime et de culpabilité, de vol ou de réappropriation.
Fingerprint is a remake of Peter Weibel’s experimental movie Fingerprint. The original movie is transposed and updated here, what implies technical changes: the passage in the digital technology, the digitalisation of imprints, the use of a video projection. The process of the remake, the plan by plan and frame by frame is applied here to its paroxysm. Only the imprint of the author changes.
