THE PILE
Drawing on a lengthy history of video games designed to be very difficult to play or even impossible to beat, "The Pile" puts you in charge of a collection of random objects that you can lift, throw and otherwise move around in space. You can think of it as a contemporary art exhibition simulator, or an experience akin to “home alone during the pandemic simulator“, but we prefer to think of it as stacking random objects into a pile.
"The Pile" is a Browser-based video game made by Camille Laurelli and Romain Sein for « History of Joy »part 4 an online event organized by Kim Contemporary Art Center in Riga and Tallinn Art Hall and Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius.
